Education and Profession:
- Graduated in 1994 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples with honors.
- Currently a professor of Painting Techniques at the Toschi Art High School in Parma.
Artistic Career:
Since 2011, she has dedicated herself solely to social art, making it a prophetic mission of courageous and lucid denunciation against the evils of our society.
Her events address uncomfortable topics such as pedophilia, the Camorra (exhibited in Naples at Maschio Angioino), the mafia, political corruption, environmental pollution (a special event organized with Taranto University against ILVA), organ trafficking, Auschwitz, and its memories.
Twice winner of the First Prize in the Florence City Painting Competition.
Participated with the Lex-Icon movement at the Venice Biennale in 2011 and simultaneously in London.
In 2011, her personal exhibition “Maria Maddalena” was supported by the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.
Currently lives and works in Parma, where she serves as the Artistic Director of the Southern Biennale “Argille D’Oro” in Matera during “Matera European Capital of Culture 2019.”
She has won the Mediolanum Award three times at the Art Parm Fair.
Her works are exhibited in the Palatucci Museum of Salerno, the municipalities of Taranto and Naples. Five of her works have appeared as covers for three novels and two poetry collections.
